The kids (and staff!) got right into the spirit of Pancake Day with this rather awesome stack of yummy treats. Maple syrup and whipped cream for me, please!
ST DAVID’S DOUGH!
Bluebell, Eltisley
Messy play with dough was the order of the day at Bluebell, continuing on from St David’s Day, where the children adopted the colours of daffodils to make pancakes – let the creativity begin!
There was also some more art fun in the toddler room at Bluebell. The staff added pens and pencils into the mix to expand the kids’ creative play.

What’s the best way to eat a pancake? Make it into a pancake face, of course! The children used their physical skills to cut and stick features onto a pancake to make a face and had great fun running pancake races in the garden. At snack time the children really enjoyed selecting their own pancake toppings – with bananas, strawberries and (just a little) syrup!
